Direct Payments for WooCommerce v2.4 is now live, introducing AI-powered payment confirmation with WadSow AI and a brand new Workflow system to give merchants more control while reducing manual work.

AI Powered Payment Confirmation (with WadSow AI)

You can now enable automatic payment confirmation powered by WadSow AI. This helps verify incoming payments and match them to orders, reducing manual checks while keeping you fully in control. Payments can still be reviewed or overridden at any time.

New Workflow Settings

v2.4 introduces a dedicated Workflow tab in the settings page, where you can configure how Direct Payments for WooCommerce interacts with WooCommerce order statuses.

From the Workflow page, you can:

  • Set the order status before payment is sent
  • Choose the status when a customer marks a payment as sent
  • Define what happens when payment is confirmed
  • Configure how unpaid orders are handled and marked as abandoned

This allows you to tailor the payment flow to fit how your business operates.

Abandoned Payment Handling

You can now define how long unpaid orders remain active before they are considered abandoned. This helps keep your orders organized and gives you clearer visibility into pending payments.
